My musical interests began very early in life with a wide variety of musical styles. My introduction to actually playing began with a brief period of piano lessons. During my school years I played cornet, baritone, and bass guitar. After high school I played semi-professionally with a southern rock band called Stinger. Our "15-minutes of fame" came when we were selected to open a show for Molly Hatchet. Below is a picture of each band from this concert. We only produced one album and it is no longer available for sale to the public.
A few years after this time period, my perspective and approach to life dramatically changed and I began to write Christian music with my best friend from high school. We played for a couple of years in a band called Hosanna, but we didn't record any music. Careers then took us in different directions for many years until 2001 when Marvin moved back from California. We then formed InsideGrace and produced one CD in June, 2003. While are currently not playing or producing any new music due to various circumstances, we leave the door open for us to potentially work together again in the future.
