How do you view Jesus? Meek and mild? Wouldn’t hurt a fly type of guy? That’s true; He is our example of true meekness, patience, humbleness, and love. As Isaiah 53:7 declares; “He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.” Yet seldom do we think of Jesus as a warrior, fighting on our behalf. Jesus, the conqueror of death and Hades, now stands before the Father as our advocate from our adversary who is continually accusing the brethren. Our battle is not in the physical realm, but the spiritual, and we have the Spiritual Warrior on our side; Jesus, second to none!

Revelation 19:11-16, Ephesians 6:10-18

There’s been a change in my heart
I’ve never felt this way before
His Spirit’s come over me
He broke loose these chains and set me free

He’s a mighty God…….Spiritual Warrior, second to none

He holds a two-edged sword in His hand
He keeps His eyes on me
And gives me the strength to keep His commands.

Well now….Jesus is His name
The living Word, the Truth and the Life
His name is above every other name
Creation falls to His feet, nothing can stand in His way

He’s a mighty God…..Spiritual Warrior, second to none

He’s got battle scars on His armor
Stained with blood for you and me

Jesus the Warrior, second to none.
